Scientific council
The SHJT has a scientific council composed of outside figures, whether or not members of the Association, invited to take part by virtue of their expertise, and chaired by Mrs Mireille Hadas-Lebel. This council meets twice a year and its mission is:
- To propose to the board of directors lines of research to be encouraged or developed, taking into account the existing corpus, new research questions and new research tools.
- To respond to requests for opinions from the board of directors.
- At the end of the academic year, to give an opinion on the scholarly record of the Society’s activities during the year in question.
